FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in a Life Group meeting?
Each Life Group meeting includes fun fellowship time as well as a time to apply God's Word to our daily lives. Prayer is also an important part of connection with God and others. These meetings will last no longer than 2 hours.
When do I join a Life Group?
Can I join a group mid-semester?
It is best to time your entry into a group when the groups begin each semester. This helps the group to get to know each other well and build trust in one another as the study material is used. If you are looking for a way to get involved and you are in between life group semesters, we would highly recommend that you following:
1. Attend Inside BridgePointe. Click HERE for description
2. Sign up for a GROWTH GROUP. Click HERE for description
3. Serve on a ministry team. Attend Quarterly "Pulse" meetings to meet ministry leaders. Pulse is held Sunday evenings once a quarter. Watch the Sunday bulletins for upcoming dates.
Why does
BridgePointe follow a 3-semester schedule for groups instead of groups that
last a year or two or more?
8-12 week meeting periods offer adults the
opportunity to “mix in” and meet different circles of people over the course of
the year. The limited semesters
afford easy ‘on’ and ‘off’ ramps for individuals and couples. They can switch groups as their needs
or schedules change or sign up for the same group when a new semester
begins.
