/files/Images/WalkWay Logo FINAL_1.jpgThe name WalkWay refers to the elementary grades area of BridgePointe Church.  In Isaiah 30:21, the Bible tells us, “Whether you turn your head to the right or to the left, you will a voice, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”  Walkway believes this concept is vital for children to learn in their journey through this world.  Walkway sees, and accepts, the challenge of teaching children how to “walk” with our Lord Jesus.
Walkway reaches all students in elementary school, grades kindergarten through fifth.  WalkWay teaches for both 9am and 11am services every Sunday.  We strive to show real-life virtues, bible stories, and love to each and every child that comes through our doors on Sunday mornings.

WalkWay Curriculum

WalkWay, the elementary grades area at BridgePointe Church, uses the 252 Basics Curriculum (ReThink Group) to instill a Christ foundation in each child.  This curriculum focuses on 3 key concepts while teaching the children characters and stories from the Bible in a fun, exciting and creative way.

The 3 concepts are:

1.     I need to make the wise choice.

2.     I can trust God no matter what.

3.     I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

WalkWay uses worship, real-life virtues, small group activities, and Bible memory verses to reinforce and apply the teaching each month.

WalkWay Unplugged

WalkWay caters to all children. This includes those on different learning levels, and those with physical challenges.  If you have any questions or concerns for your child, please contact the UnPlugged Coordinator, Jessica Thomas, at jessica.thomas@bridgepointechurch.org.

Our Team

WalkWay’s team of volunteers make the commitment to serve our Next Generation in coming to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Ideally this commitment means 2-4 times a month on a Sunday morning service, but once a month is acceptable.  Our volunteer team consists of people with many different backgrounds and areas of expertise, thus enhancing our ability to reach all children.

Do you want to get involved?
