The BridgePointe Worship Choir exists to provide a place of service for those ages 13 and up who love to sing and help lead our people in passionate and soulful worship. Our choir typically sings once per month and on any special event Sundays. Our Easter and Christmas event choirs are great opportunities for anyone to join us for a new experience in worship.  As our choir develops we are looking for new opportunities to make this a fun, relational and meaningful serving experience. If you have a heart to sing and can carry a tune, the BridgePointe Worship Choir may be just the place for you!

Our next leading opportunities are Dec. 14th and December 24th. Dec. 14th will involve normal worship music.  Christmas Eve songs are listed below.  December rehearsals at The Outback are as follows:
  • Thursday, December 11th: 7:30-9pm
  • Thursday, December 18th: 7:30-9pm
  • Saturday, December 20th: 11am
  • Sunday, December 21st: 2pm (after church)
  • Wednesday, December 24th: 2pm.

Frequently Asked Questions About the BridgePointe Worship Choir

When do you practice?
The Choir rehearses on Thursday evening prior to each singing Sunday. Our rehearsals are at The Outback from 7:30-8:45pm.

When do you sing?
The Choir typically sings once per month and on special event Sundays. We offer choir in two semesters, February-June and August-December.

Do I have to audition?
There are no formal auditions for the choir, just be able to carry a tune and stay in tune. If you can harmonize with other parts that is also a plus but not a requirement.

Do I have to be able to read music?
No, our choir learns by rote(ear) and repetition. We enjoy the strength of singing a powerful melody line together on many of our worship songs, but also divide into parts on some material.  Our choir director and vocal team help teach these parts to the choir.

What are the requirements to join?
First, you need a heart that enjoys worship. Second, you must be able to commit to the Thursday evening rehearsals prior to our singing Sundays.  Third, you must be available on Sunday mornings for both services on our singing dates.

Sounds Great!  What's my next move?
Typically we recruit and register prior to each semester. But if you feel ready to commit now and would like to join us then email our choir director Lisa Easton and we can add you to the roster.
