Bridgepointe Church

At BridgePointe we have two lead teams that provide oversight to the ministry and spiritual direction of our body.  We believe these lead teams bring us into alignment with the Biblical description of elder leadership.  

Pastoral Team

We have pastors who provide point leadership in specific areas of ministry focus:

Pastor Mat Garcia
Lead Pastor

We are honored to welcome Pastor Mat Garcia and his wife Christi to serve as the Lead Pastor of BridgePointe Church.  Pastor Mat and Christi are joining us with over 20+ years of experience from Southern California where they have served as Lead Pastor of a church plant, and Student Pastor at various churches.  They have two daughters; Lindsay who is a 21 year old college senior and Danae who is an 18 year old college freshman.  Their family would not be complete without their dog, Patch.

Both Pastor Mat and Christi are passionate about life application Bible teaching and creating strategic environments that make faith real and alive in the everyday life of people.  They are skilled in teaching and developing a culture that is growing around a common vision, developing leaders who thrive inside and outside of the church and being strategic in helping people grow in their relationship with Christ.  They were attracted to lead BridgePointe Church, because it is the type of church where they would feel comfortable inviting their neighbors and friends to attend.  Both Mat and Christi see endless potential in the future and the people who make up BridgePointe.  They are excited to be a part of writing the next chapter of life and ministry at BridgePointe

Mat enjoys playing basketball and cheering on the Lakers, classic rock music and just being around people in general.  Christi loves decorating, magazines and getting a good manicure and pedicure.  They have recently discovered the restaurant Pure in downtown Woodstock and love the steak tacos.

Keith Norman
Associate Pastor

Keith and his wife Lucille have been a part of BridgePointe for six years.  Keith has a strong passion to see people grow in their relationships with Christ.  He works hard to help people put the Bible into action in their everyday lives.  Whether it is teaching at our Sunday morning worship experience or leading a group to reach out to those who are less fortunate, Keith is in the center of it all things growth related.  Keith is also responsible for our pastoral care ministry.

Keith received his degree from Trinity International University where he also served as the Ethnic Diversity Director. He has also served as a Youth Pastor and Worship Pastor at various churches in Atlanta and Chicago. Keith and his wife Lucille have two children.  Keith is responsible for our pastoral care ministry.

Jarad Houser
Student Ministries Pastor

Jarad and his wife Kelley have been a part of BridgePointe since Christmas 2008.  Jarad served on our volunteer team leading our college aged singles ministry and helping with students 6th-12th grades prior to coming on staff full-time.  Jarad genuinely loves students and loves seeing students "Get It" when it comes to their relationships with God.  Jarad provides ministry leadership to students 6th-12th grades.  If you want to see Jarad's passion at work, visit Fusion, our mid-week student experience, to see him invest his heart into over 150 students on a weekly basis.

Jarad graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Bible and religion.  Jarad has served as a Student Pastor in churches in Indiana and Atlanta.  Jarad and Kelley are the proud parents to twin 18 month old kids.

The Advisors are volunteer leaders who provide counsel, spiritual covering and accountability.  This group is also responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor in processing and discerning key decisions involving the church's direction.  Current members include:
